OverNet has developed the Road Worthiness Photo Management application to help Mechanics who are licenced to perform road worthiness inspections. The application will manage the digital photographs (images) that are now required to be kept as per the Vic Roads requirements.
The software supports:
- importing of the images from a camera or from a directory
- thumbnail display of the images
- thumbnail size configuration
- enlarged images for a closer look
- transfer of images to an image pool for later filing releasing the camera to take more pictures
- transfer of images directly to an entered certificate
- quick retrieval of images by vehicle or specific certificate
- images are automatically renamed as per the Vic Roads requirements
- integration with the Mechanic Workshop Manager
Here are a few screen shots to give you an idea of how it looks:

If you find that your computer does not have enough storage to store all these digital images, OverNet are able to upgrade your system for you.
The Vic Roads specifications also state that you must back up all your images to something off site. Though this application does not do that itself, OverNet can also set up a backup scheme to fulfil that requirement.
