If you have a wireless network it might be a good idea to check the security settings on it. There are many configurations you can choose. If you have no security set up then anyone could sit outside your home and use your wireless network to access the Internet - any downloads they do eats into your usage and could cost you money if you exceed your plan. Worse than this is the possibility that these people could also access your computers and the files stored on them! There are a number of ways to secure your wireless network. Some of the methods commonly used have recently been cracked and can now be overcome by a persistent intruder.
